Incorporating a vibrant Ladies Day on Tuesday, August 15th and Saturday 19th – always a sensational Broome Cup Day – leaves punters yearning for next year’s season. Everyone who has ever had the pleasure of experiencing the Broome races always returns, for this is truly ‘the winter racing alternative’.

Upon arrival in Broome, make your way to the four-star Mangrove Hotel for check-in and rest. We’ll meet up for some welcome drinks to introduce everyone before heading out for a beautiful sunset dinner to enjoy the warm weather, get to know everyone and enjoy some local seafood.

After a relaxing morning, we’re off to the first day of Broome Cup week, the Ladies Day races. Today is our chance to take in the stunning surrounds of the famous Broome racecourse, watch some great races and enjoy have premium hospitality with all-inclusive food and beverages.
The evening is yours to relax and explore Broome.
Today we’re off for a beautiful scenic island flight, this tour showcases the majestic islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago, the Horizontal Falls and Cape Leveque.
Departing Broome, you track over the Chinatown district of Broome, sweeping over Roebuck Bay and surrounds. The flight path takes you over Malcolm Douglas Crocodile farm and the Broome Road before heading towards the Dampier Peninsula. As you fly past the millions of hectares of station land, rich in Aboriginal Heritage, your pilot will regale you with stories and the history of the area before you enter the area known as the Buccaneer Archipelago.
Flying over Talbot Bay, the home of the famous Paspaley Pearling Empire, you see the hundreds of long lines each housing the valuable oysters that cultivate the pearl. Your Pilot weaves through the islands of Cockatoo and Koolan (mining empires) and heads towards Cape Leveque where the red rock cliffs meet the white sandy beaches bordering the pristine blue waters. You will land here for lunch and have time to explore this unique area.
Walking over the hill at Cape Leveque is like walking into an unspoiled paradise. You will be one of the few that are privy to this wonderful experience. We will receive a freshly cooked lunch selection and there will be time for a swim in the pristine turquoise waters.
After a brief stay in this amazing area, you take to the skies again for a quick forty-five minutes of flying along the coast past Lombadina, Prices Point, Sandy Bay, Beagle Bay and Willie Creek to arrive back in Broome.
The afternoon and evening are yours to relax and explore Broome.
You have a free morning to relax at the beach before we head off on an afternoon sunset whale watching cruise. During the months of June through September, humpback whales journey from the cold waters of Antarctica to Broome and reside over the warmer season mating, calving and nursing their young. With over 35,000 whales expected to travel along the coast of WA, Broome is an ideal destination to witness this phenomenal annual event.
The tour takes you on a 4.5 hr sunset cruise aboard our beautifully appointed sailing catamaran, Ballena. Spanish for whale, ‘Ballena’ is a fantastic stable platform to get up close and personal with the world’s largest population of humpback whales. Uninterrupted views and an onboard hydrophone enable you to take in the magical sights and sounds of these amazing mammals. As we return home a beautiful Broome sunset ends your perfect day.
Today is a free day to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Broome, whether you want to head out exploring more of the north-west coast, sit by the pool or enjoy some of the local hospitality.

The highlight of the week and final day of the Broome racing season is here, BROOME CUP DAY. We are in the Mumm Hospitality marquee with premium food and beverages for the day.
Our visit to Broome finishes today as we make our way back down south and back into winter, hopefully with lots of great memories and some winnings in our pockets.
