After a great first tour in 2023, Australian Racing Tours is delighted to partner with Mitch Beer Racing at the Albury Gold Cup for a long week of fun on the border.
The young and enthusiastic Mitch Beer is delighted to host you in his home town of Albury for two days of top-quality racing where he hopes to have a few winners you can be a part of.
The Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup Carnival is now clearly established as one of Australia’s premier country racing carnivals. The Albury Gold Cup is recognised as an icon event for the fast-developing city of Albury. With over $770,000 in prize money, trophies and bonuses on offer over two days with the feature race – $200,000 Listed Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup (2000m).
PAYMENT – $200 Deposit due on booking, balance due 60 days before the tour begins.
Make your way to the centrally located 4* Mercure Hotel Albury for check-in. Then we’ll head out for a nice local dinner and drinks to get to know each other and prepare for a great weekend ahead.
After a big night, we’re up early to head to the stables of Mitchell Beer Racing where we’ll get to see his operation, the Albury track and see some stable stars getting ready for a huge two days of racing.
Then we’re off to Albury Races for the big Thursday card where we’ll be located in premium hospitality with great views of the track, and plenty of food and beverages.
After the races, we’re off to The Commercial Club where the famous Calcutta takes place. Hopefully, we can lock in a few horses and find the Cup winner.
After a relaxing morning, we head back to the Albury race track for a huge Cup Day highlighted by the Listed $200,000 feature.
We’ll take in a big day’s racing within a marquee and enjoy premium food and beverages, get some last-minute tips from the main man and hopefully celebrate a few winners.
After the last, we’ll be back in town to finish up with some drinks at the pub to celebrate a great few days on the border.
After breakfast and checkout, it’s time to end our trip up on the border and make our way back home.
