Singapore is finishing horse racing forever in October 2024 and this is your last chance to head across for some great racing on the city-state island.

Join us for a six-day trip to magnificent Singapore. Singapore is known as a bustling metropolis that also happens to be one of the cleanest and safest cities of its size in the world. You’ll find historic sites like the Thian Hock Keng temple, superlative shopping (including gargantuan malls), beautiful gardens and numerous beaches. We’ll explore all that Singapore has to offer as well as enjoy a great day out at Kranji racecourse for one of the final feature races The QE 11 Cup.

Itinerary

TUESDAY 3 SEPTEMBERWelcome Dinner & Drinks

Arrive at Changi Airport and make your way to our five-star hotel for check-in. After settling in, we’ll meet up in the bar before we head out for a nice local dinner to get to know everyone and hear our plans for the week.

WEDNESDAY 4 SEPTEMBERHalf Day Singapore Tour including Gardens by the Bay

After breakfast, we’ll be taken on a guided tour of Singapore to get the lay of the land and learn about the amazing history of the island. We’ll get a personalized experience with a private guide, who will answer all your questions as you visit local markets and hawker stalls, Singapore’s Merlion, the Gardens by the Bay, the Colonial District, and more. We may even stop in at Raffles for a Singapore Sling!

THURSDAY 5 SEPTEMBERStable Tour & Chinatown

We’re up early this morning to head out to Kranji Racecourse for a private tour of a local stable and the great facilities on the course. We’ll chat with a local trainer, see some horses in the flesh and hopefully get a tip or two.   We will then head to Singapore’s famous Chinatown, where you’ll enjoy a mix of heritage visits to museums, shopping as well as a good variety of food options that Singapore is famous for. 

The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy exploring Singapore.

FRIDAY 6 SEPTEMBERRest Day & Evening Harbour Dinner Cruise

Today is a rest day and gives everyone a chance to explore Singapore at their leisure, see more of the island, shop and do your form for Kranji tomorrow.

We’ll meet late afternoon to head out for an evening boat cruise to enjoy Singapore sights and a nice dinner. 

SATURDAY 7 SEPTEMBERSingapore QEII Cup @ Kranji Racecourse

After breakfast, we get into our finest racewear and jump on our bus back to KRANJI racecourse for the highlight of the trip. 

The Singapore QEII is a time-honoured classic run on the Singapore racing calendar where top racing action and glamour come together. This will be your last chance to see racing in Singapore, so we’ll celebrate with fantastic food, drinks, and a balcony to watch the races.

SUNDAY 8 SEPTEMBER 2024Tour Concludes

After breakfast, the tour concludes and we all head our separate ways back to Australia, hopefully with some winnings from the week.
