Join us and Group 1-winning syndicators First Light Racing for an exclusive VIP Magic Millions weekend. Working alongside their trainers, Tim Wilson and the FLR team, guests will gain a rare behind-the-scenes insight into how the next stars of the Australian and international turf are identified and purchased. FLR’s impressive record includes Aristia, purchased for $80,000 and winner of the 2018 Group 2 Wakeful Stakes and Group 1 VRC Oaks (earning more than $1.1 million in prizemoney), as well as Abounding, winner of the 2024 Magic Millions 3YO Guineas. This is a unique opportunity to see first-hand how one of Australia’s leading syndicators identifies and selects their next generation of yearlings.
Our four-day experience features a private yacht cruise, Magic Millions Calcutta Dinner, private yearling parades at leading studs, an exclusive dinner with the First Light Racing team, and our own marquee at the Magic Millions Sales Complex. And, of course, we’ll experience the excitement of Magic Millions Raceday, headlined by the $2 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

Itinerary
On arrival, make your way to the 5-Star Hotel & Casino in Broadbeach for check-in.
We’ll all meet downstairs at 6 pm to head to Cora Restaurant (at The Beach Club Hotel) for a fabulous welcome dinner and drinks, giving everyone a chance to get to know each other. We’ll be joined by industry special guests, gaining insight into how they identify their next yearling purchases and what it takes to buy at the Magic Millions.
After a relaxing morning, we’re off on a private luxury yacht charter. We’ll cruise the Gold Coast Broadwater in style, enjoying the stunning views and beautiful weather.
The yacht features five separate viewing areas, offering spectacular vistas as you relax under the guidance of our experienced skipper. Once aboard, it’s truly an adventure of a lifetime on one of the world’s most magnificent waterways, the Gold Coast Broadwater in Southport, Queensland.
A delicious BBQ lunch and drinks will be served as we cruise, making for a perfect day on the water.
After returning to our hotel, we get ready for the Calcutta dinner and join racing enthusiasts for a fun and relaxed night with dinner and drinks. Racing identities will provide insight into the prestigious The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic, then the hot Calcutta action begins. A sell-out event not to be missed.
After a leisurely morning—whether you choose to sleep in or enjoy a walk along the famous Gold Coast beach—we’ll head to the Magic Millions Sales Complex for private inspections of select yearlings with leading syndicators and trainers.
You’ll discover what the different trainers and syndicators are looking for as they hunt for their next Group 1 winner. We’ll also meet some of Australia’s leading studs to view their crop of yearlings heading to the sales ring. From the Atrium Stands or our Marquee, watch up to 200 yearlings go under the hammer, with food and drinks provided throughout the day. Along the way, we’ll hopefully secure a few exciting purchases that you may be interested in buying a share in.
The evening is free to relax at your leisure.
We’ll make our way to the Gold Coast Turf Club to enjoy all the action in the sunshine! We’ll be based in the Events Centre Hospitality Room, with premium buffet lunch and drinks included, giving us a prime position to take in the day’s racing.
The night is yours at leisure after a big day.
